Aga's is the top Indian restaurant in the city hands down imho. (Listed at 74 with several other Indian restaurants ahead of it ) . I have eaten at the top rated one (Himalaya) and while its good its not even in the same zip code as Agas.

Am I the only one who thinks Kata Robata is insanely overrated? Went once, no need to go back. Izakaya Wa, way further down the list is 100x better, and cheaper.

Agreed. If they were going to put an Indian restaurant top ten, it should have been Aga's.

I probably would've put BCN and B&B higher and think Killen's STQ is way too high based on my experience there. I'm surprised MAD isn't rated higher given the hype around it.

Himalayas gave me and my Indian friend (that lives in India) the squirts within about 5 minutes of paying the check. Happened to us both at different times.

Himlaya reminded me of any other Indian restaurant I've ever been to.

And I don't agree with the order of his BBQ rankings, but all the good ones are there.

Anyone have a good experience at Better luck tomorrow? I've been once and it wasn't good, haven't been back. When we went the two options were a patty melt and chicken fried steak, if I'm remembering correctly. I don't think I've talked to anyone who likes it yet it's always on these lists.

Haven't been to many of the places but, definitely don't agree with the BBQ order.

Having heard an interview with the guy, food was just 1 small part of the ranking. This is based on his opinion of overall meal experience.

It's Bobby Heugel, so if he had a menu that was just a bunch of different jars of bottled farts, Houston reviewers would give it 4.5 stars.

Agas is really really great food.

On BBQ, I have a hard time ranking anyone over Pinkertons. Love that place.

They are pretty hit or miss, but they are definitely not in the upper level anymore, although their pastrami and turkey sandwhich is pretty damn good.

Blood Bros gets a lot of love for some reason, but haven't been that impressed.

I've been three times since they've opened. I don't think they're the best in town by any means, but certainly the best in the area. They have a lot of unique specials and sides as well.

Gatlin's brisket has been hospital cafeteria grade the last two times I went.
