Nope, Uber or Lyft. Will be cheaper than a cab.

The last time I did it, i looked up the shuttle and it was like 30 bucks. I would have had to wait awhile for it. Uber cost me 35 and it was no wait. So i ubered.

They used to have a flight between the two that went a couple times a day. You poors can keep your shared ride services and your cattle cars. I will take to the skies.

My guess:
Two one-way Delta bookings and he wasn't paying attention to the airport coding.

Nope....I flew from Hobby to IAH once. Had a flight out of IAH and the only flight we could catch back in was to Hobby...this was maybe 15 years ago. Actually flew the Continental shuttle from Hobby to IAH....what a great flight...up and down over downtown.

Weirdest flight ive done is a Wednesday night one-way to DFW then Round trip from DFW to Vegas Thursday AM where the return trip went back through IAH. So I just went to my truck instead of making the connect back to DFW.

Pretty much what I did, but I was flying back from a different city that I drove to.

Ehh

Flight out time needed fits better with southwest and it's a $49 flight.
Flight back with SW has no direct flights and not good times.
United direct flight back at exact time needed.

Yeah going to both airports may be a pain but I get direct flights at the exact time I need.. and it's about $250 cheaper this way

I used to do hidden city flights when I was younger. It actually worked pretty well. Book one way on one airline from DFW -> wherever and just happen to miss my connection in Chicago and then book one way from ORD -> wherever and just happen to miss my connection at DFW. Pretty handy as long as you can travel with a carry-on only.

It was IAH and Hobby. And it was probably 30 years ago when I took it.

Damn that hurts to type. 30 years. Damn.

Where'd I get the Ellington nonsense from.

Oh well, if it was 30 years ago, I guess I can claim maximum oldness too.

I've looked into this before as well. Booking one ways that are cheap with a layover to the place you want to go. Works well.

Our old safety guy who traveled all the time lived right by Ellington and would connect up to IAH for all his flights. I"m pretty certain they used to give you a segment and the old 500 mile minimum with Continental back in the day which was real win for getting status. This was late 90s in to 00's.

Flew from Ellington to IAH in Dec. 1991, I think that was a just launched service. Was awesome, free parking and ended up close to home in Clear Lake.

Lived in Clear Lake through high school in the 90s. Ellington to IAH was money.

I got an email right after united merger about a flight change. Number and times were name so I didn't think much of it. I did not notice my flight was changed from IAH to HOU.

There was a super shuttle and it was like 9:00PM so didn't take long to get between airports for like $10.
