The downtown Houston hotel recently opened its sixth-floor Parkview Terrace to the public with day passes starting at $50.

The terrace features "the world's only rooftop Texas-shaped lazy river," an infinity pool, High Dive Bar & Grill and more. The "Second Saturdays" pool deck party runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will include live music. Guests must be 21 to attend.

Hmm I stayed at Aloft back in March for Dropkick Murphys and I don't think I even saw any other hotel guests. Maybe they were all at the pool.
