The Association of Former Students found out this morning that its short film, Colonel Campbell's Final Flight, had been selected as a nominee for a People's Telly Award (in two categories). The Telly Awards is an international awards program that honors the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Winners are selected by the online community, so we need your help.
Voting is live and runs through Friday, May 4.
Here's how you can help.
1. Click on the following links, which will pull up the voting screen for each category.
Non-Broadcast Production Category
Videos/Shows/Segments Category
2. Watch the short film (around 12 minutes) if you haven't already seen it.
3. Give a rating (hopefully five stars)
4. Share it via Facebook and/or Twitter and encourage others to submit their vote.
---
For those who haven't seen it, here's a short synopsis:
Missing for more than 48 years, an Aggie shot down during the Vietnam War is finally laid to rest by his family in this short film from The Association of Former Students.
The remains of USAF pilot Colonel William Campbell '52 were flown this month to Washington, D.C., and interred with those of his widow at Arlington National Cemetery. The Association is grateful to the Campbell family for trusting us to document their father's return and share this story with the Aggie Network.
Thanks and gig 'em!
