Okay remember the tortoise and the hare story, where slow and steady wins the race? Well the College Station Senior Games fits this story to a t.
While speed may not be the name of the game, join the community this weekend from Friday, February 23 through Sunday, February 25 to support the athletes of the College Station Senior Games.
Maybe seeing people of older age, in better shape than you, will act as motivation to restart that New Year's resolution of yours.
NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships
Slow and steady wins this race? Not so much.
The 2018 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships comes to town March 9-10 at the Gilliam Indoor Stadium.
This event is all about SPEED. Witness former and future Olympians fly around the track and see firsthand that running isn't impossible!
BCSTX now home to American swimming history
Swimming......the word that is synonymous with Michael Phelps, Chlorine, Dory from Finding Nemo and Bryan College Station??? That's right! Just this past weekend BCS Sports + Events and Texas A&M Athletics partnered to host the 2018 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships at the Texas A&M Natatorium.
While the Texas A&M Swimming and Diving teams outperformed most of the competition, it was Caleb Dressel from the University of Florida (tss), who stole the show as he made #BCSTX home to American Swimming history by recording an American record in the 100 yd breaststroke during the final day. UPD wasn't around or he may have been issued a speeding ticket for going well above the limit.
