Cross posted in Travel but man is there not much traffic there.

Looking to go for 3 nights in early March. Prefer quiet all inclusive close to airport. Just planning to eat, drink, and lay around.

Budget is not concern.

Looking at El Dorado Maroma. Anything else I need to consider?

We stayed at Secrets Akumal last Summer and it's pretty incredible. It's a long drive from the Airport (close to an hour), but the water was clearer and sand was whiter than places we have stayed closer into town.

Been to Excellence Playa Mujeres a couple times and really liked it.

Edit: not close to the airport. I think private transfer was maybe $70 RT.

Went to Unico in Riviera Maya in January. Hands down the best all inclusive I've ever visited.

We went last April right after they opened. It was my first trip to Mexico but I had been to Excellence Punta Cana.

Excellence was fantastic but Unico was in a class by itself. Really want to go back.
