I will be in Houston for the Thanksgiving holiday and I am looking for a sports bar that will have a good Aggie crowd for the A&M-LSU game watching.

I realize the official watch party is at Pub Fiction, however some in my group worry that we are too "old" for that crowd! We are all in our early 40's (class of '96/class of '97).

I also came up with Kirby Ice House as a possible other location, however I have never been there so I do not know much about it.

Any thoughts/suggestions for game watching- ideal location would be mid-town/Heights/Rice Village-upper Kirby area.

Almost any sports bar with good TV's is an Aggie bar when we're on the road. Not all of them will have the sound on our game though.

If the weather is good, you can't go wrong with Kirby.

McIntyres is another good option. They'll have the sound on

If you don't go to Pub Fiction then McIntyre's is the best option for sure. Great TV setup and always have good food trucks.

Edit: Sticky's Chicken and The Burger Joint will be there Saturday.

Here's something in the demo you're looking for in the "West" Heights area. Whatever you do don't go to Little Woodrow's on Shepherd as that will be like walking into Tiger Stadium.

Class of '96 here. I am having a Birthday party on Saturday at Sportin Woodys near Tomball/Cypress/Willowbrook. Boiling up some shrimp and stuff for the owner at $7/plate. Anyone and everyone is welcome.
