It's the only place in town I'm aware of that serves the roasted bluefin tuna collar. That alone warrants a top 10 spot in my book.

Saw that bernies burger bus was on there. I don't get the hype for that place. service sucked and the burgers weren't anything special either.

I've been to Xochi 2-3 times for lunch and have never been impressed. I've heard it's better for dinner though. I think his other restaurants are better.

Thinking about it I probably had my favorite Houston meal of the year there. That sucks you had a bad experience.

Which one: Pass or Provisions?

Provisions is our most frequented restaurant. Never had a problem and always enjoyed the food in our 30+ visits.

Went to Killerns BBQ. Was a moderately ok. The meat had way too much smoke. Sauce, beans and dessert were just average.

Have any of y'all been to State of Grace?

I drove past it yesterday and saw the sign in German...was hoping for a small badass German restaurant, but State of Grace sounds pretty awesome

went to Helen's for the first time this past weekend and thought it was out-standing. fantastic experience for us. food and wine were great.

I would like to go to Xochi, but hard to get pumped about going to a hotel restaurant for some reason. really enjoyed Caracol on my 2 visits.
