Any recommendations on dim sum? We specifically are craving good soup dumplings

HK for dim sum. It's a small place but it is fantastic. It's not traditional with all the carts. you get to pick and choose from menu/pictures and they'll bring it out to you fresh and hot. If you go there for lunch on a weekend, get there no later than 11am
I enjoy the dumplings at San Dong Noodle House on Bellaire and BW8.
Any of these spots push the carts around so you can see before you order?
The two biggest places in town with dim sum carts are Ocean Palace and Fung's Kitchen.
If you've been to dim sum restaurants, they pretty much all serve the same items.
If you decide to go to Ocean Palace (has carts), go before noon. The food is warmer and tastes better. Later in afternoon food has been sitting out awhile and is cooler therefore not as good.

Fungs reduced their portion size considerably a couple years back and parking is a total CF.

Had lunch a few weeks ago at Kim Son at the Fountains. Placed was packed at 11:30 on a Saturday. Very good quality & variety.
Golden dim sum on bellaire, east of wilcrest on north side, has been a good bet lately.
Usually go to Ocean Palace or Kim Son (on Bellaire).
Usually OP with Chinese friends and KS with Vietnamese.

If soup dumplings means the ones that are literally dumplings with soup inside them, you can get that at Fu Fu Cafe. I haven't been in a while, but it's a great place.
We enjoy Fung's for Dim Sum but the parking is a disaster. Try and get there early enough to self-park; like, before 11 for sure.
