Question is in the topic. I found a few places and I will call them, but I am just looking for a casual place to plunk a few quarters down and hit some balls. I grew up hitting at Spring Klein Batting cages, so i am looking for about the same.

The Madden Zone or something like that on 1960 might have coin operated cages.

Took my kid there earlier this year to get ready for tryouts...

I didn't see any coin operated machines, but you could rent a bay for $20 per half hour.

Still have the one in Willowbrook. It gets awfully dark pretty early though.

Isnt that all of Willowbrook?

The one in Kingwood was pretty legit back in the day.

The OG batting cages were at Putt Putt in Humble. I grew up in those things.

Yeah, nowadays it is.

Back in the day, it was pretty good up until about 2002/2003.

I grew up in the cages by the Spring Klein fields

I grew up out there too and remember having little league practice at those cages. We used to go to the one that I think threw about 80 at the time. It was so wild it was like facing rick ankiel in his prime. Used to peg us when we were like 10.

That place was great. I probably went to 20 or so end of season parties or bday parties there growing up. Still remember all the putt putt holes too

isnt that where the crazy girl saloon is now?

Mountaisa was great. If you got there when they opened and had just turned on all the games, you could play with like 30 free credits. I spent many many hours at Virtual Cop.

The Willowbrook location is fairly well maintained given it's location.
