During the late 80s early 90s there was a ton of commercials pushing inpatient drug rehab clinics for teenagers. They'd show a montage of parents fighting with kids, parents finding drugs in kids room etc. I never understood whether the drug problem was that bad or was just a bunch of hysteria.

Not a TV commercial, but does anyone remember in the 80s McDonalds ran a marketing campaign where they put a 45 record in with the Sunday edition of Houston Post?

This is a gteat time to rede the thread, however, because you can embed the YouTube video of the actual commercial.

This video brought back a lot of memories. Not just commercials..but the wrestling host...remember that one on black and white TV and the Mel Tillis Whataburger commercial.

The old Art Grindle and Ralph Williams car ads from the 60's were classic. Art used to jump up and down on the car's hood until one day he collapsed the hood. Ralph had a store in Houston but he was famous for appearing on Johnny Carson since he was a staple of late night Los Angeles TV......and his dog "Storm"
I can't find any video of Art and the Ralph Williams videos are all LA.

There's a very tittalating commercial rolling for a Honda dealership on one of the Spanish channels. I'll try to find it. I bet the cholos love it.
