my 2 cents worth...somebody tell 610 to stop leading with the Texans every day. It's 3 months until the season starts.

the Astros are on fire right now and headed to the playoffs. I give Innes credit for talking about baseball for his first hour the other day

Charlie is back later this month on 1560, just in time for football and Astros post season.

yep. The really sad part is that back in those years he always point to '16, '17 as being the years.

Anus and Jim Mudd have done a quality job during the playoffs.

Much better than 610 talking about Texans practice squad possibilities.

That simply the difference between what teams you have on your station, if roles were reversed Innes would be talking about the Texans as much.

Part of it is Vandermeer not being able to talk about anything else. It's got to be easier on the hosts if they only have to follow one team and talk about the same crap every single day year round without having to do any research or show prep. A lot of it is just plain laziness.

Those were some brutal calls. Just makes me feel uncomfortable listening to old men talk about how emotional everything makes them. One guy was trying to think of everyone he could name who isn't alive to celebrate with him.

If I were willing to sit on hold, I'd call in with some phony sentimental stuff as a premise and end by saying I wish Barry Warner were alive to see this.
