Josh Ennis is terrible. I really liked Charlie Pallilo.

Last week when the Astros were 3-0, I was thinking to myself it sure would be nice to have a local sports radio host who was capable of discussing baseball. Or discussing local sports without spouting off the exact same scripted "hot take" every single day.

Pallio is soo good someone has picked him up! eeer wait. Caller driven radio is the worst.

His weekly spot with Nolan Ryan was the best thing on Houston AM radio.

This sounds exactly like something he would say.

Since it wasn't Ashley Judd I think that is a dead giveaway that he is not Charlie. That plus he would have neede a couple of pages of ellipses to simulate Charlie's pregnant pauses.

Charlie used to troll me with his 10 second pregnant pauses about once a week. Usually goes something like this:

Charlie: "...is a change in the pitching rotation in order? ... ...

Me: [wtf happened to my stream? Did the wifi drop off, I paid the bill this month didn't I? ... Hell, let me go check the router ... must be my phone ... streaming was fine before latest iOS update .. gd Apple and their BS ...]

...
...

Charlie: ... .... ... ... "Certainly something to think about. ... Moving along ... Phil Steele has the longhorns ranked #5 in his preseason poll? ... Our segment with him coming up on the other side of the break.

Don't forget to turn the volume way up during the pause and then get your eardrum blown out when he continues the thought.

Yep. He gets me with that too. Usually when first turn on in the car and cant figure out why the f the radio isn't working.
