I'm about to demo a really poorly constructed back patio structure on about 340 Sq feet that was attached to my house when I bought it a couple of years ago and build a new deck/pergola.

Aside from what I can find online with Waste Management, etc...does anyone know of a good company that will deliver and pick-up a construction dumpster that will give a better price than the $500 that WM offers?

I'm completely new to that sort of thing and I'm sure plenty of people here have opinions on disposal.

Thanks in advance!

Hill sand company or Hill Waste Company is in Pearland.

Not sure what WM offers but Hill has different sizes so maybe they offer some cheaper than $500.

Depends where you are. Some cities like Pasadena have exclusive deals with Waste Management and other companies will not even go into the area. That said, do you not have "heavy trash day" in your area? Any good lumber will disappear on their own and the city will haul off the rest.

You don't need to rent a dumpster. Acres Homes is a great location to dump trash. Even dead livestock.

Just throw it in the back of an open bed pickup and drive down 45. It'll take care of itself.

Tailgate down. Swerve a lot and make sure it's raining.

Do what all the Hispanics do in constructure and find a new build with a dumpster and dump your garbage there! Make someone else pay for it!

You could also just demo it and either (1) set it out at the curb on heavy trash day or (2) haul it to one of the junk waste centers around town. I've gutted a house and never rented a dumpster.

Have you looked into Bagster? The bag is $30 at Home Depot/Walmart and holds up to 3,300 lbs of waste. Schedule Waste Management to come pick it up from your house when your done. All in should be under $200.

I was moving out of a house once and had some old furniture and **** I was trying to figure out how to get rid of. My hispanic landlord and his helpers came over and were all "don't worry about it, we know a place we can take." I'm like "where is it? I can haul it over." "Naah, don't worry about it. We'll take it to a good place." Ok, senores.

They are good folks. Had the pleasure of working with them professionally a couple years ago to frustrate the "Texas Hammer".

I had never seen this before 2 weeks ago when a guy down the street took out his fence. "Dumpster in a bag"
Buy it at Home Depot for $30. WM will pick up for $75. It held a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...sorry to drop and run, been out of town and onsite with a client the last couple of days and I wanted to come back and interact.

I'm in the Galleria area and really, this gives me some great options to look into...including both Acres Homes and just makin' it rain on 45.

I was talking with my neighbor who was filling up a bagster in front of his house and he said he doesn't schedule pick up, he just puts it out before heavy waste day and they pick it up. Good if you have a bunch of small stuff, concrete etc and that way they don't take a chunk out of your grass with their claw
