They going to demo that shopping center for new apartments or something?
I don't think they're tearing anything down.
Not sure they'll even re-open. Last time I was there, the waiter said they don't know where they'll be re-locating.

They didn't want to pay the new lease rate. It's already low as hell but they passed to resign.
Not surprised. They can't be making much money with no alcohol sales.

I also love that place. Need to get by there before it closes down.
Last time I went they had redone the menu, eliminating a lot of their Italian American classics. I guess overall "better" but too much like a dozen other places. Would go to the new location but the old La Vista was already gone.
The owner is my neighbor. I'll ask him what he plans to do next.
Anyone know exactly when they close doors?

My understanding is it's being torn down as well with the La Vista center
Are you sure the strip center isn't just being remodeled? That would mean Fountain View cafe is gone too. I lost Kay's last year. I can't lose Rons too.
Where am I going to drink at 8AM watching LFC if Ron's is gone?
Rice just remodeled as did Fountainview not long ago. And just down from la vista is new rebuild
