Drove the Grand Parkway through Katy yesterday. This news makes me need a grief counselor.

I ate at Lupe Tortilla's in Champions this week. Really makes you think.
$110 for chicken fajitas for 2 is asinine and I grew up eating at the 2nd location off 1-10.
Between Uncle Julio, Jimmy Changas, las almedas, Lupe Torilla and El Jarrito, I think they might of had a hard time.....

Fajitas for 2 is like $35. $110 must be after 8 ritas.
El Tiempo is better than all those but that location is horrible.
I meant the Parrilladas Mixtas for 2. Apologies.

It's pricy, but that's a ton of food. The mixed grill for 2 is enough for at least 4 normal people.
The normal fajitas for 1 is enough for 2 regular people. The fajitas for 2 is a rip cause it's twice the price and not much more meat.
I heard somewhere that you can buy the same fajita meat that's marinated and prepped just like they do right next door at the meat market on Washington.
The one on Bay Area or NASA still has a sign on it that says opening in 2015 or something like that..

To sure about raw meat but the tacos from the meat market are not anywhere close to the El Tiempo fajita meat.

Lupe is the only one that should be mentioned alongside ElTiemp, the others don't compare, especially Jimmy Changas.

Katy location can't be worse than Vintage location
Maybe the most overrated restaurant in Houston. It's okay but not worth the price.
There's an ongoing lawsuit. From what I remember Liquid Gold paid for a certain amount of El Tiempo restaurants but they have to use a brother in law construction company and the Webster location was way over budget and took forever.

Yeah my daughter loves the free soft serve and playground but their food still sucks. It's like Maggie Rita's but with kids stuff.
She did admit that El Tiempo is a lot better recently. I was proud.

At the allergist and looking at this place. Going need more than spackle and paint. Looks like the fire gutted it straight in the center. Would have been fun to watch it burn. Internal structural beams are poking through the roof....looks like the ribs of a dead moose.
