Most people who live in The Woodlands don't even know the correct boundaries (as evidenced by my incorrect statement about Harper's Landing). There was a big stink over Creekside, actually, with other Woodlands residents saying it "isn't really The Woodlands" because it is in Harris County and is not zoned to Conroe ISD. But, I get an annual tax bill that states otherwise...
Now Creekside residents are battling with developer because a bunch of trees were clear-cut and the residents are complaining that Creekside doesn't "feel like the rest of The Woodlands." The developer did admit that they are using a different "standard" for landscaping in Creekside compared to the rest of the township. It never ends...
