We recently bought a house in Fort Worth that has no existing fireplace. We've been thinking about adding a gas fireplace and the cold snap today definitely reminded us of that discussion. But we have no idea where to start. Anyone have experience or recommendations?

Also consider a wood-burning stove. We love ours vs gas.

We have used Black Velvet Chimney over in Mansfield. Great guy named Pete has been doing it for years.
