Blowing very hot air these days and told need to replace the compressor. Of course I tried adding freon at first but no help. Anyone have a recommendation on where to go in the Plano/Carrollton/The Colony area? Got a quote for $1800 which seemed insane especially after the same shop quoted $900 several months ago. Any idea what this should cost? And this is my 17 year old son's car so he's paying for it which is why he has been driving around with no a/c for most of the year. Now it's unbearable. Thanks.
