Looking for ideas as I don't live there. Coming to spend time with daughters: 22,21,10,8. 21 y/o is in Denton so that's our meeting place.

Any outdoor ideas? Pumpkin patches probably wouldn't kill much time. Also, one of the older ones a bit COVID-paranoid so she's already nixed mini golf and bowling.

The Dallas Arboretum is the best thing we've got going, IMO. There's a big pumpkin exhibit on now. Kind of high without a membership, though

Have you tried to book through Gate 4? Their site can sometimes appear to be sold out when it's only the main gate that is. But yes, I expect it will be quite crowded this weekend.

Ok, now the Airshow parking is sold out. (I know...why did Dad wait so long to plan...)

Surely there are good viewing places outside the main gates. Any place to tailgate where you can still see most of the performances?

fyi, there are Dallas Arboretum tickets available for this weekend through gate 4. You were probably looking at gate 1 tickets.

Should be able to get a good view from the Cabela's on 35w. Or other areas around there. I know when the airshow is in town there are people all over that area up and down the highway access road etc.
