Summer of the weirdest year ever.

I couldn't figure out what was going on with the funky haze but it's another Saharan dust layer. Hopefully the forecast holds and we don't get rain. I hate dust rain.

So that's what it was. I was driving up I45 from the south yesterday and noticed downtown was layered heavily in what looked like smog.

Power went out in Richardson and is still out. House is getting pretty warm already. And I had 2 kids in my bed once their fans went off so I'll be pounding cold brew this afternoon since I can't make regular coffee.

We're in Richardson, and the power lines are underground in our neighborhood. Power going off is extremely rare. It's nice.

Prairie Creek East here and we lose power occasionally. No terribly frequently. But went out about 3:30 this morning and didn't come back until about 11:30. Made for a long morning for sure
