Howdy all. I got the civil engineer inspection that I was recommended to do here, and now I'm on to the repair. It's only a few piers, but with just having my first baby, I'm still super budget conscience.

Anyone how a good foundation repair recommendation willing to work in Mckinney?

I'm sure you're aware, but lifting the foundation usually leads to plumbing issues that have to be immediately addressed and are not covered by the foundation company.

Also, steer clear of GL Hunt. More trouble than they are worth, even though their prices are usually on the low-average side.

Yikes. I was not aware of that. That sounds fun.

If you are budget conscious then I highly recommend Jeff Ellison at elite foundation.

I can give you his direct number if you like. He is an aggie as well.

Tell him Caleb on Raeford recommended him.

I thought I was having problems a couple years ago, so I called Align Foundation Repair based on a recommendation from here.

He came out, took a bunch of measurements and told me I was good to go. I was clenched up ready to hear bad news, but when a sales guy refuses to sell you something, I take that as a good sign.

We used Stratum and got a great price. They left things clean and landscaping back to normal. And yes, be ready for potential plumbing issues, we ended up failing the leak test and had to get our cast iron sewer line replaced which cost 3x than putting in piers. That was tough.

I used structured foundation three years ago and did have issues. I had problems and the response after I made the payment was sad.
