Maybe a little further north than you'd like but I use Canine Republic in Plano and have been very pleased. Board there when traveling and use daycare ~once a week. They greet my pups by name, are mindful of one of mine who gets anxious around packs, and always have fun stories about the hijinx my pups get into while I'm away. Good folks.

Yes. Rover.com is great. Our dog stays at someone's house with other dogs. Worked out great on several occasions . Kennels can be borderline animal abuse.
