Barley and Board - downtown square. Kind of gastropub like, cool atmosphere.

My wife and I love Barley and Board so we usually end up there when on the square.
Just to throw in a few more:
Usually some good foodtrucks behind Eastside bar.
Spiral Diner--its vegan, but their nachos are awesome.
Pizza Snob
Keiichi--sushi.
For something more upscale there's Queenies (steakhouse) and Hannah's.

Boca 31, they have great daily specials, but usually sell out during lunch
Old West or Seven Mile Cafe for breakfast

What exactly are you looking for?
Tremendous sushi: Keiichi
Nice upscale American: Batley & Board
Ramen: Hanabi
Cockatails with respectable food: 940
Burgers with amazing atmosphere: LSA
Street tacos where people speak Spanish: Guanajuato
Not chain pizza: Pizza Snob
Also just tried Bica 31 and it is good as well.
Also Baxk Dough for late night donuts. A part of Queenies.
