- Seats on the bus are $40/each (round trip).

- Bus departs Dallas (Mockingbird Station) 6 hours prior to kick off.
- Bus departs College Station 1 hour after game end.
- A minimum of 45 RSVPs must be received per game 2 weeks prior to that game or the bus will be cancelled.
- If any bus is cancelled, all RSVP money will be returned.

What's the atmosphere like on the bus. We are new to the area and will be taking my older boys to a couple games this season, 8 and 6.

The atmosphere is great. There are always kids. People booze on the way down but its not out of control in the least bit and folks mostly keep to themselves or talk to nearby passengers. On the way back, it usually very quiet as most of the bus is asleep

There was a run on the Clemson game seats over the holiday and there now only 9 seats left on the bus and 4 have recently inquired so I expect this bus to be full within the week. After the bus is full, a wait list will begin. If any of the RSVPs cancel and their RSVP is fulfilled by the wait list, their RSVP money will be refunded.

Folks - I'm going to try something new with the bus for the Northwestern State game on Thursday August 30th 7:30 pm CT. I'm going to add a stop in Fort Worth. We'll still depart from Mockingbird Station 6 hours prior to kick off (1:30 pm CT) except we'll head west on I-30, stop in Fort Worth, and then proceed to College Station via I-35 W south/Highway 6 south. Yes, this will make us go through Waco but everyone can hold their nose for the short duration through it. Plus, I've gotten bored with the I-45 scenery. This stop will add 36 miles to the trip but I'm optimistic it will only add 1/2 hour to the total commute. I'll ask everyone meeting at the Fort Worth stop to be at the stop by 1:30 pm CT as we'll depart Mockingbird Station as soon as everyone is on board and accounted for.

While we will only get 2 1/2 hours prior to kick off, I felt this was the best game to trial this additional stop. Being a weekday game, I don't think the pre-game tailgating scene will be as big as normal Saturday games. Everyone will be sleeping on the way back so that extra 1/2 hour should be negligible. If this works out well, I may add it to future games. If so, I'll change the Dallas departure time to 7 hours prior to kick off as I know most riders want more pre-game time in College Station than less time. This will not increase the cost/person for the bus.

There are still 21 out of 56 seats available. Hopefully this will add some more Fort Worth area RSVPs to this bus. I know several on past buses traveled to Dallas (Mockingbird Station) from the Fort Worth area so this will help them out. I know some in Fort Worth had attempted to start up a similar charter in the past but were not successful. Therefore, I know there's at least minimal demand. I haven't settled on a pick up spot in Fort Worth yet. I was looking for a stop before getting to Fort Worth so we don't have to go through Fort Worth proper and hopefully avoid any traffic. However, I wanted to make sure it was a safe parking area as many times we'll be getting back very late. I'm not too familiar with that area so any and all feedback is appreciated

For those who can't get on the bus because it's sold out VonLane is running a much more expensive gameday shuttle

FWIW... Vonlane is ~ $250 round trip. It amazes me how Vonlane still gets customers while this bus still has seats.

I know people that use it for work as the cost is cheaper than a last minute flight and you can work/bill while on the bus. Also, the time to park, security, fly, and leave is the same.

*** UPDATE: After discussing with the bus company, we cannot add a Fort Worth stop due to "state and federal regulations limit drivers to 15 consecutive hours of duty during any one day". Our current round trip (Dallas only) is 14 hours round trip, so adding 30 minutes each way would not leave much time for any contingencies (overtime, traffic, etc.). Additionally, we did not get many people from Fort Worth signing up for the bus due to the added Fort Worth stop. ***
