Great, great area. And this house is pretty awesome, sitting on almost 1/3 acre lot.

Love the Midway Hollow house and good area. But I think the giant house to it's left might loom over and I don't like people looking into my backyard.

Why would you put that much in updates in an area that has 2 story mcmansions? Most people driving up to that house are going to be thinking lot value.

It's an opportunity to get into the neighborhood well under $500k in an updated home with great lot value. Not everyone is knocking them down and building new. Some will want to buy in the area, lock in a great lot, and take advantage of it later down the road when selling. Plus, most homes on the street are more like this one than the neighbor.

I live in the area and only 2 of the 20 homes on my block arent 1950s builds.

That's pretty wild. If I see a 1700 sq. foot house going for 468k I'm not hoping the inside is pretty trashed you can get some space out the back and get some sq. feet equity in an addition.

I guess that house was flipped or something. I can't imagine an owner going to all that trouble and then bouncing.

Houses like that are common in Midway Hollow. People make improvements, live there for 5-6 years and then move into a bigger place. The few flips in the area are usually priced higher than this one.
