It's a smaller chain (5 locations), but Norma's Cafe has spots in both Plano and Frisco. I wouldn't say it's so outstanding that it's worth going far out of one's way, but it's not bad.

There's a place called The Rugby House that does English breakfast, but they also have the best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long, long time.

Former owner was running some child pornography ring, haven't been back since.
I haven't been to Poor Richard's in years but a long time employee is now the owner.

Too bad you're up in white bread north. The best breakfast places are in the hood.

Mamas Daughters is the best breakfast place in D/FW IMHO. The original is on Irving Blvd but they have one in Plano now (never been to that one).

Crossroads would be my pick if you included Richardson. Even though it's outside your range, it's worth the drive just for the sticky buns.

Flying Fish has a pretty solid breakfast. Most people do not even know they serve breakfast! I go to the one in Preston Center but I know they have locations further to the north.

Average to slightly above average on a really good day. Le Peep in Las Colinas is better, as are plenty of other places. Mamas Daughters does one thing well: their food is very consistent. As in, their biscuits are good, their eggs are good, their meat products are good, etc. You won't say, "stay away from their ____, but their ____ are to die for..."

Judy's Cafe in Garland is awesome. Not too close to where you stated, but they are way underrated so I'm mentioning them.
