My daughter just broke down in Fort Worth. She managed to get it to a Pep Boys as it was over heating.

It's an '09 X5. The issue seems to be the water pump. She had it towed to a BMW dealer in Fort Worth but she'd like a better option for the repair.

Lone Star Bavarian isn't too far from Autobahn (the BMW dealership), it's been years since I used them but they were pretty reasonable and accommodating when I lived there.

Sorry to hear that. The E70 series X5 has an electrically driven water pump. It is a known weak spot. My wife has one. We have put two water pumps in it. It has 85K miles. Unfortunately that is about an $1100 repair.

Strictly foreign auto is also good. Same area, not far from autobahn. They were always fair and honest when my wife would take her old Mercedes there. They specialize in German cars.
