My sister and her husband are coming in from Germany to stay for a few days. They're anniversary falls on one of the days they'll be visiting. She's asking if there's any good hotels to spend an anniversary evening at. Something other than just a normal hotel room. I mentioned Gaylord Texan with Great Wolf Lodge but that's probably too many kids and an anniversary couple with kids.

The Ashton Hotel in downtown FW looks good. Being in Sundance Square you could walk/Uber to a lot of things.

The best part of downtown FW is its easily walkable since its so small and compact. If they go that route just be sure to tell them to have a drink and catch a show at Scat Jazz Lounge, which is about 3 blocks away.

Pretty much your perfect option.

Stoneleigh hotel. Great hotel in middle of it all. Wife and I stay there every couple of months for stacation away from kids.

We stayed at the Ashton and were pleased with our decision. There is a lot to do in walking distance.
