Defcon 5 is normal and calm. I think you meant defcon 1. The scale is backwards.

I thought there were some crotch rockets and rice burners racing down Plano road or NW Highway. Glad to know I'm not just hearing things. Never heard the sirens before. Super creepy.

Anybody know why the helicopter was circling over LH last night? I assume police searching for a suspect, but got to say I was pretty creeped out waking up to sirens and a chopper overhead at 1:30 am.

Yeah, with the issues with speed of answer at 911 in Dallas already, that was a real idiotic move by those folks. What the heck was a call to 911 going to accomplish?

last week the power went out 3 or 4 times from trees falling that were probably damaged a week and a half ago in that big storm. It sounded like cut site around here. I think 36 hours was the longest. Usually 4 hours based on the oncor map no longer showing an incident.
