Thank You for Your Continued Support
Help support this year's Dallas Aggie Muster by making a tax-deductible donation! Muster has become a great tradition in Dallas and the Dallas A&M Club could not host such a time-honored event without the generous support of Aggies & friends of Texas A&M.

To underwrite a portion of the program expenses for the Dallas Aggie Muster by providing a gift of any amount, please contact the DAMC via dallasmuster@gmail.com. Any additional proceeds from our annual Muster program will then benefit the Dallas A&M Club scholarship fund.

Speaker Biography
Jackie Wayne Sherrill played football for Coach Bear Bryant at the University of Alabama from 1962 to 1965, where he won back to back national championships in 1964 and 1965. After his playing days, he immediately began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Alabama. After a handful of position and coordinator roles, in 1976 he landed his first head coaching job at Washington State University.

In 1982, Jackie became athletic director and head coach at Texas A&M University. Just a year later, he did the unthinkable. Coach Sherrill conducted open tryouts to field an entire kickoff coverage team of walk-ons. Over the next five seasons, the group that came to be known as the 12th Man Kickoff Team prided themselves as being one of the top kickoff coverage units in all of college football. To this day, a single walk-on athlete donning the number 12 is on every Aggie kickoff team, a nod to the tradition that Coach Sherrill started over thirty years ago.
