well although i liked the chicken and cow hop.....our hangout more often than not in the mid 80's was at

pizza by the slice and buckets of beer and a patio with actual chairs and tables - the backside of northgate did not exist at that time so it was one of the few places to sit and people watch outside and above the fray.



there was also a very short lived bar in the mid 80's called Sunset Grill where a friend of mine worked. Great place to watch a game like MNF.
