Taking my folks to Cirque tomorrow night at Lone Star in GP. Will be coming from Lake Highlands on a reasonably tight schedule. Suggestions? Gracias.

When I worked at Vought, that was our go to place. I've always believed black folk barbeque better than whites and that place proves it.

Unfortunately, I've heard they closed.

Oh yeah - another place that rocks in GP (if you want to try something different) is Theo's Drive In.

The Trinity Groves restaurants aren't that far from the Lone Star Park area. We've gone that route a couple times before concerts at Verizon.

I'll check. I haven't been there in about a year. The mom and daughter were both OLDDDDDD.

After Crown's, Hardeman's and Odoms are my mainstays (for bbq).
