This summer we moved back to DFW (Garland) after eight years in the Brazos Valley. Have a company cocktail party in Fort Worth on Saturday evening. Would like a hotel recommendation for Saturday night. Party is just southwest of downtown.

Those are both great, but I'd like to know what "just southwest of downtown" means exactly. Do you want something you can walk to?

I assume he means the Magnolia area. I'd just stay downtown & uber.

Embassy suites downtown is pretty nice also. And close to Sundance square.
