How long do you want to ignore this user?
If my house had 2 busted galvanized pipes in the attic due to a freeze, and I file a claim with my HO insurance....
is it "normal" for them to cover the cost of repiping (with PEX or other) the whole house, say 15 drops?
Or will they ONLY pay for the cost of fixing the 2 leaks?

From my understanding they don't fix the pipes. You do. They pay got water damage like walls and floors and such.

But that is from reading Texags so don't bank on my post

I think(not sure) they will pay for the pipe repair if it busts from a freeze. I am sure they will not replumb the house. The only time the allow for a reroute or replumb is if there is a problem with lines in a slab.

They don't pay for plumbing repair if you just have a leak not related to freezing. In that case they only pay to repair the damage done by the water.
