Need to get a turbo replaced on an f150, any shops in the south austin area that aren't going to kill me on price and are knowledgeable?

while not south, I'd call Ferguson's Automotive, which is right across the street from Murchison MS in northwest Hills area. Talk to Peggy - she can give you an estimate over the phone or direct you to your best options. She and her husband been at that location since the 70s. I have taken 4 of my cars there for work, much cheaper and honest, and will direct you elsewhere if they can't do the work (usually electrical high tech stuff). Not sure what your F150 needs, but worth at least a phone call to ask.

Lugnuts Automotive. Best deal I have found in town. Straight to the point.

We used Marioshop Automotive in Round Rock. Not in South Austin, but worth it IMHO.
