Wasn't sure whether to post this in Central Texas or here. Noticed my water smelled slightly fishy yesterday evening. It has continued into today. A quick google search says it could be natural minerals or a disinfectant used in the water. Just curious if anyone else in the area has noticed it.

I recall that they used to send out notices about this time of the year when Lake Travis turned over.

Also, if zebra mussels get in the intake pipes they have to treat them. Dead mussels could be the reason. They can treat to make the water safe to drink, but it is much more difficult and expensive to remove all the odor.

Quick update. No longer have the fishy smell. Seems to be back to normal.
