My son is all the sudden, like as of a month ago, into golf. Spent his own money on some used clubs, bought a bag, everything. We had planned to golf during his spring break this week and the city shut down the courses.

Anyone know of some places still open? Was going to take Monday off and get him somewhere.

Believe the courses are open but it is limited tee times and walking only. No rakes or touching flag sticks.

City courses?? I could have sworn I saw they were closed...which is kinda stupid. Nothing says social distancing like walking a course like Hancock.

I live 4 blocks from Lions. You can walk on. No flags or rakes but can play. Course actually is great shape.

I think most courses are open, operating in a different way. For instance, most courses require 1 person per cart.

Played Mo Willie on Thursday. No carts, you could only walk, but they were supposed to allow carts starting yesterday. Course was in really good shape except they had just punched the greens and the tee box on 14 was closed. The temporary tee box made it a 75 yard hole. Having said that, it wasn't bad for $17.
