Howdy!

I am looking to relocate to Austin and was wanting some advice on finding a decent job in the city.

I recently graduated with a degree in Microbiology. I'm class of '14 but didn't graduate until '18 (long story, PM me if you would like to endure the details).

If anyone has any insight or tips into a job search within Austin, I would greatly appreciate them!!

Several testing labs you could look at. LCRA, GeoSyntec, Ana-Lab to name a few.

Watch the City of Austin, TCEQ, DSHS, and TPWD job boards as well.

I am assuming that you want a career within the realm of Microbiology (lab setting, etc)?

Yes, preferably! But don't want to limit myself to a lab setting, I'd do anything within realm of biology to be honest.

Not much help on the job aspect, but be prepared for sticker shock on housing/apartment rents for anything in/around Austin.
