My wife and I are thinking about coming up from CS to the Austin Parade of Homes this weekend.

From the website, it looks like there are only 4 homes on it. Anyone been?is it worth the $15 pp entry?

I mean it sounds like for are paying $15 to have some home builders advertise to you. The new custom builds aren't really my style, If it was the next weekend I'd suggest combining it with the Hyde Park history home tour.

I'm not interested in any other home tours, really. We are planning to build in about a year and looking for ideas, hence the parade.

I told the docent "yeah, it's a pretty nice house, but too bad it doesn't have much of a view".
