Austin Elite Rugby (no official mascot yet) is kicking off the inaugural year of Major League Rugby in 2018! Preseason starts on January. Regular Season begins in April.

First Exhibition match will be March 11.

That's the address. They will share the field/sports complex with the Austin Huns Rugby Club. They were under the same ownership, but there were rumored to be some dispute over the trademark. There could also have been some complications with the Huns' ability to compete on the club circuit if connected to the Pro team.

Another rumor says that a 40k capacity stadium is being explored for a possible soccer team to move to Austin that would be shared.
