I'm traveling to Austin Saturday taking my Father and His Roommate (both Class of '48) to watch the Ole Miss Game. Can anyone tell me a good place to take them where a good Ag crowd will be around?

I'm going to a Georgetown private party and I'd think you would be welcome but we are way north.

I'm coming from CS and will pick up my Dad in Blanco and his roommate in Austin. Georgetown would be a stretch because I need to get them home afterwards. I was hoping to find a place where Ag's might be gathering in Austin. Thanks - I appreciate the offer.

OP, if you want a lot of Ags, one of those watch parties will fit your bill. There will be some Ags at most any decent sized bar, so y'all could probably find some to hang out with. Some potential places: Doc's (38th St), Little Woodrow's (Burnet Rd. and also W. 6th), and Cover 3 (Anderson Ln and also W. 6th). Sip plays at 1100 and the only real TV competition is L$U/UT and USC/UCLA, so you should have no trouble getting the TV of your choice, maybe even sound.
