will be flying into Austin on Saturday at 6 - heading south on 35 to New Braunfels afterwards.

Looking for a restaurant rec to hit with the parents that isn't too far out of the way for dinner. No chains, if you please.

can't understand where you are going to be and with who, but leaving airport and headed toward I-35, Hills Cafe is about 5 mins the other side of I-35...

Should've clarified. My parents live in New Braunfels, but rarely eat in Austin so we figured to give it a go this time since I'm flying in there. Only preferences would be no chains and nothing too fancy.

Jack Allen's in Oak Hill is about 15 mins (11 miles) from 71/35 intersection. Several options on South First or Congress that would be a little closer.

Palazio couldn't be more on the way. Very close to ABIA. Service is excellent and you really get a hands on feel. Very attentive and sure to make your evening memorable.
