FTR, the gimp HEB is the best HEB. If the Jew HEB didn't have high prices on meat, I'd probably shop there instead.

My area should be renamed to "Homeless Criminal Drug Addicts"

That drive on 79 sucks between Taylor and the toll way.
Taylor to downtown would be better served going 973 -> 290 and avoiding 79.

I grew up on the county line - Travis county was across the street!

We used to live on the Wilco side of the street for 10 years. Had to move to the Travis side so that the kid could attend Canyon Vista

Nothing is nothing because it's industrial parks. Cow people should be E. Mexico.
Looks like poverty for you, welcome to Austin.

Lived in Fake Hippies near the Family Lesbians (1995-2007) then bought land out in Bastrop, near the Hyatt Lost Pines... very nice! Trees and hills.. love it! My kids still go to school downtown (St. Mary's) it is 28-32 mins using the 71 Toll.

Northern Hays County isn't too bad and the drive should get better in a couple of years when SH 45 Southwest is completed.

Can probably find something worthwhile between Buda and Driftwood.
People of integrity expect to be believed, when they're not, they let time prove them right.

You can take my spot here in Austin. We are moving out of here asap. I'd prefer Dripping Springs and then Bastrop.

Well, there really isn't much of note between Buda and Driftwood except whatever homes come up for sale on FM 967. No real neighborhoods to speak of. Buda keeps growing like crazy but Driftwood is still fairly isolated with only a couple of established communities or developments off of 1826 and 150. We'll see how long it lasts though.
