Driving about 70 mph today on mopac north of 183...changed lanes. and slammed right into a rock about 6-8 inches in diameter. Tore through both right side tires. Rims probably toast. Control arms, bearings, etc possibly need replacement. I'm honesty just glad the car didn't swerve upon impact. Subaru's are amazing little cars.

Anyone know a good mechanic in the northwest (360/183/mopac) area? I know the car needs more than just new tires but I'd prefer not to get ripped off...def not going to the austin Subaru dealer. Thanks in advance. Drive safe out there.

Marioshop Automotive. I think they may be open on Sat.

I haven't used them myself but I always seem to see recommendations for Marioshop.
