I'm looking for a place to take my dogs where I can wash them myself. One of our dogs will let us wash her but we have another one who sees the hose and hauls butt in the other direction. I can pick the small one up and bring her to the hose, but if I tried to wrestle my 95lb boy, it would make a Youtube video for the ages.

I know there are places in town that basically let you rent their tub. I can bring my own shampoo and towels or if they supply as part of the service, great.

Looking for a do-it-yourself place opposed to a drop off/pick up.

TIA

Wish BCS had a Pet Supermarket. We had one back where we lived in Cypress and they had individual bays with a great setup to wash your dog. They supplied the shampoos, towels and hair dryers to do the entire process and they charged you $10.00.

We used a place near Harvey Washbangers a while back. It had baths and then separate drying stations.

I use the one at Pet Supplies Plus in Bryan. You can buy a 5 wash card for $25, otherwise I think its $10 a wash. It isn't fancy, but they have 4 soaps to choose from, towels, etc. One is a low tub thats easy to step into for the dog, the other one is higher up and use a ladder and self contained.

Pet supplies plus and the one behind Harvey washbangers are the only ones I know. Would say which ever is easiest for you to get to

Tractor Supply has a self-serve washing stations and driers. I think its $10 with the fourth one free. They have towels but bring your own just in case.

There is also a place near Krogers on Rock Prairie called Scenthound. It isn't self-serve but we have used them and were very happy.

Use TSC regularly for my hound. The wash is $10 an animal, they supply, aprons, soaps, conditioners, towels and blow dryers. Only allow one customer at a time. BUT there are two options for washing sinks.

I edited my post to show $10, thanks for heads up. BTW there could be a line on weekend so be prepared.

Barks and Rec is one of our partners and is run by a former student (Ag)! I have gotten a full tour of this space already as it nears completion and its going to be pretty awesome!

I use Lucky Dog behind Harvey Washbangers. My 70lb dummy accepts his fate now. I try to go when it isnt busy, he isn't great around other dogs and it's spaced out enough I havent had an issue.

I've used lucky dog diy dog wash for years. They are a bit hidden back behind Harvey washbangers so don't get a lot of traffic. They've got several raised tubs and provide everything I need for my large dogs, brushes, combs, towels, blow dryers and stuff to clean their ears. Personally I prefer to support locally owned businesses and they've served my needs well. Highly recommend!
