Went to Angry Elephant in College Station this afternoon to have a drink and enjoy reading the plane crash/cattle emotional damage thread. Paid with a credit card and was not charged any additional fees.AG81 said:

Haven't read the whole thread, so I might be late to the party.
I'd submit KinderHill Brew lab. Went a few weeks ago and it was pretty cool. Live music, pizza food truck set up there, good set up.
Check it out while the weather is nice.

Harvey Washbangers has the best dog in town.
I avoid kinder hill and Murphy's law. They have had some events in the past im not a fan of and have made it a point to avoid establishments that have hosted such events.

Sadly, I saw this and thought there was a new option to the Dirty Sock that opened up !
Yesterdays usually has an adult crowd, if you like a more divey place.

Across from proudest monkey is the velvet leaf cigar bar. Best old fashioned I've ever had, plus cigars as well. It my goto once a week.
We went to the Queen Theater bar the other night. Had the upstairs lounge to ourselves. The bartender has a deck of cards on the bar we borrowed and our group played some card games, laughed, and really enjoyed ourselves. It's a great little bar!

You realize the wait staff usually has to pay the credit card fee on the tip portion you are charging to your credit card, you're penalizing them for the owner's greedy policy.Hornbeck said:AG81 said:

I just subtract that 3% from the tip I'm leaving. I figure that if enough folks do that, they'll get the message.
