Not sure why there isn't a left only from south Texas to go down cooner by the sonic. Would give access to that whole corner that currently has no access from that direction.

I'm aware. They don't care. It keeps people turning left off of Cooner though, which is maybe a fair trade.
Saw CSFD truck trying to get Hampton the other day. Yeah ambulance turned on Hansen and I suppose went down northpoint to get in from the back side. Fire truck turned into Hansen and backed out to effect a Uturn on Texas so they could go south back to the Hampton. Fireman had to lean out the window to tell the cars to stop so they could back up.
Wife commented that BFD should respond to all calls on west side of Texas and CSFD should respond to calls on the east side, with the added benefit that it would increase BFD calls into CoCS and help balance out that issue too.

People on Nextdoor are complaining up a storm about lots of traffic having to be diverted to the residential streets on either side of Texas now.
Sadly they are right, one of perhaps many unintended consequences of these unnecessary and unwanted and unneeded medians.
