Jenna Ryan, one of the Capitol rioters, was there, as well as the wife of an Enron CEO.

A Brazos County jury disposed of Lawrence Brewer. Pretty infamous guy who would have been in our local jail during the trial (or did they bus him in from elsewhere?).

Jasper County housed him in the Brazos County Jail for his trial. After he was convicted and sentenced BCSO promptly gave Mr. Brewer a courtesy ride to TDCJ.

There's a cop killer named Dabrett Black who's moderately infamous (Greg Abbott signed a new law because of him called the Damon Allen Act, which was the name of his victim) that was sentenced to life without parole in March in Brazos County (the death penalty was taken off the table in exchange for him agreeing not to use the insanity defense at trial, with the consent of the victim's family). The murder happened exactly five years ago (Thanksgiving 2017) in Freestone County, but he was held at the Brazos County Detention Center during his trial, since the trial was held here due to the high publicity where the murder happened.

He also recommended that she be allowed family visitation, saying that it enhanced the possibility for rehabilitation.
Family visitation is important, therefore I'm sending you to a prison almost 2,000 miles from home? Guess her baby daddy could relocate to Cypress.

Probably her & her lawyers idea, and Bryan is the best place to do time in the whole BOP, imho. But with her high profile, I doubt she ends up here.

Incorrect. Jones self-surrendered to FMC Carswell and was housed at their satellite camp for a while, then moved inside FMC Carswell for the rest of her time until release. Never at Bryan at all.

You have any evidence of this or is it just local legend?

Lea Weingarten Fastow is the wife of Andy Fastow who was the CFO of Enron, not the CEO. The CEO was Ken Lay, then Jeff Skilling, then Lay again, then boom…

The Wiki is incorrect.
