What kind of play? Why a house? I have a significant number of questions but those are the first two.

I know a few years ago a group did some play at Lakeside.

Because it would build atmosphere contributing to the story but it doesn't have to be an old house. Just a unique location would be fine. Something that would add to the mood.

A couple of years ago, CSHS Theatre held a play on the outdoor stage at Lake Atlas (across from the Stella Hotel). Lake Walk

Seems like a lot of plays happen at the church steps downtown on First Friday.

I love the idea but don't have any suggestions.

I saw You Can't Do That, Dan Moody! in the old courthouse in Georgetown several years back and it was fantastic!

What is the "mood" you're going for? That might help.

Some just random places off the top of my head:

The barn at Ronin Farm where they do classes on the farm day
Polite Coffee (formerly the Kyle House)
The Gardens at A&M (there's a small amphiteater or the pavilon)
Lick Creek Nature Center
The Village Cafe has a small stage I think

Play is a spooky one set in an old Victorian house. The barn or Polite Coffee might work for sure.

Don't know your budget, but Astin Mansion would work.

Thought about that place for sure but it's so expensive to rent
